Short Summary of Me

Born in Natchez, Mississippi where I grew up and met Alice Magee, of Natchez, in 1960. We married in 1963.  We have one son, Paul, and he married Pam Hoover in 1999. I have two grandchildren, Alicia and Daniel Hoover. Paul and Pam reside in Meridian, MS and own Tarver Program Consultants, Inc. and Quality PC of Meridian. Daniel lives in upstate NY and Alicia was killed in an auto accident in 2001 at 16.

I’ve spent a lifetime as an auto and diesel mechanic and spent 12 years as a salesman for Boteler & Corey Meats in Jackson till they closed.

When I retired we moved back to Kingston community in Adams County outside of Natchez to my 20 acres property part of Smithland Plantation, which is family owned property.

Today I’m retired and spend my time gardening vegetables and fruit trees. I’ve designed and installed my own irrigation system for my plantings. When I’m not gardening I’m writing poetry and am very active in Community Chapel Church of God in Natchez, MS

My goals are to lose 75 pounds, earn enough money to travel and live comfortably for the rest of my life.

My claim to fame is the invention of toy Zoom Rockets.
